VDH Will install in the newest Netscape, (on Win 10), but it wont install ihe icon on the toolbar to have it work.
I depend on it now I'm at a loss.
It's also lot listed in the group of drag and drop icons.

It doesn't work when you first install it, then tells you to download some other app, then still doesn't work - cannot detect any media playing. FAQ/support is snide and condescending. Plenty of other addons do this better, with no need to download anything, far better success downloading videos, and friendly support. Why is this recommended by mozilla?

Won't download most files without an external app, which isn't mentioned in description. After downloading and spending 30+ min converting, it then informs you it has put a QR code watermark on the video (again, not mentioned anywhere prior.) Complete bait and switch.

This addon sucks up memory during YouTube live steams. Until this is fixed I have to disable it and give it 1 star.

Por muchos años esta fue, a mi parecer, la extensión por excelencia para la descarga de multimedia. Lamentablemente, poco a poco se fue denigrando hasta convertirse en una especie de cajita registradora donde cada función debe pagarse y donde el desarrollador mantiene vínculos con las principales páginas web para evitar su uso en ellas. Su implementación y su funcionalidad (cuando se puede usar) es nefasta, hace falta descargar una aplicación por separado para que "funcione" y, aún así, no logra su cometido.
Es así como, después de 10 años de tenerlo instalado por defecto, le digo adiós a esta extensión.
Muchas gracias a los desarrolladores que, en su momento, lograron mantener a flote este proyecto.

I just wanted to download a 30-second YT video - even after installing the helper app, it took 10 minutes to "aggregate" then informed me it had watermarked the video because I chose an "ADP" menu option (the only one available) and didn't register some conversion feature. A huge waste of time for even the simplest of uses.
