This add on helps me everywhere

video downloader has worked really well for me. But recently you tube videos are not offering formats that I can use anymore.

Phishing scam, ask for money

Have used it for years. It works quite well, in spite of websites frequently changing code to disallow video downloads. I highly recommend this mature, working, safe, reliable add-on. This alone makes firefox my browser of choice!
Update: I've now used it for another year and the active development is a great feature - when a site blocks downloads within a short time Video DownloadHelper is modified and works again. This is great software.
