This is a very useful add-on. It works as described and downloads very quickly. I would recommend VideoDownloadHelper to all my friends who want to use an add-on that provides such an easy way to extract videos and images from web sites. I was a bit disappointed with the black and white square in the top left-hand corner in the free version and recommend becoming a paid subscriber to eliminate that minor inteference. Thank you for this excellent add-on.

Tried to download an old public domain video last night and saw this huge QR code superimposes on it. I believe this will prove to be shooting oneself in the foot. Looking for another downloader now....

Don't get me wrong. I don't expect people to work for nothing, they are entitled to compensation for their efforts. But forcing downloads with ADP and disabling "browser" downloads (that's what's happening for me), and charging for the converter (rather than support by donations) wasn't the right way to go about it.

They just REMOVED the "copy the address of the Link" function so it just loss all its Utility to me. That's Pathetic. I'm NOT Gonna Install anything on my computer from them !

Surprisingly great. I'm not a fan of downloading additional software to use (which is the only reason I took a star off. Too scared of that kind of stuff). I was able to download 107 videos that I needed and then uninstalled everything. I would use this again if I needed to download more videos from a website as it can download videos that aren't easily downloaded with other websites/software.
