Pros: Downloads just about everything. That's pretty big.

Cons: Has a bit of a learning curve, but it's not as steep anymore.

Despite a few minor quirks, this is the best video downloader I've used. It's more successful at completing a download than any other one, and seems to recognize every stream/file on the web page.

Upgraded to 5 stars. It's been improved on and is fairly simple to use now.

Cripple-ware. Sticks a watermark in the video file unless you pay.

Takes a long time to process your video file. Others are faster.

Downloads the media I want. I've used this extension for years and have stuck to FIrefox because of this extension. There really isn't thing quite like it. I've donated to the project, and I will use extension in the near future.

I have, months ago, successfully downloaded videos from Twitch and another site. The 720p or so quality of the videos that are available is great. I don't mind the barcode on some of them all that much. One of the videos was downloaded in Webm format which I had never used before, it played great, overall equal quality to the site. For videos over an hour, the physical memory usage for the browser will go way up. I suspect this is java script that becomes unresponsive. Thank you for reading.

This used to be a fantastic extension but the latest update makes it junk without add on purchase. I have no confidence that the extension will continue to work in the future even if I paid. They obviously just want more money and don't mind changing the rules to generate income.

The Video DownloadHelper is easy to use and very effective for handling downloads. The interface is user friendly, too.
