One of the best down-loaders for FF, I do wish they would work on the streaming downloads and conversions. These are slow and use way to much processor power.

There are much better opensource alternatives for this extension which doesn't spoil videos. Also they have less permissions and will not spy on you an all websites you visit.

I have been using VDH for some time now, and I must say, I'm VERY happy. No hiccups, no crashing, no problem. 12 out of 10!!

Consistently downloads videos. Great for when my bandwidth is too low to stream seamlessly.

Only drawback is that the UI is strange. I'd prefer a more straight-forward dialog based UI.

Some of the 1 star reviews are ridiculous. Maybe it's really 4.25 to me but I'm giving 5 to offset some of those that complain about things that either are irrelevant or people that just want everything for free and take issue when a certain function (maybe aggregation) is a paid feature. So go find an app that does it for free. It basically works. Most problems I've run into have to do with the site the video is on, not VDH. Glad it's still around :)
