Now, the listed premium feature seems to be media conversion, but I just download Video from Facebook normally without telling it to convert to anything - just download it as-is. turns out it still leave a big watermark.
I think $30 is too much for something like this.

The settings page for this addon is also too long as if it is made to deter user from configuring, and not much categorization is present.

If you try any quality over a certain level they will try to get you to download a “special” edition. Despite being the only one recommended by Firefox when I searched for a downloader for Facebook, it does not work on Facebook.

Doesn't actually download video. Instead it prompts you to install malware.

On my system (Debian) the helper app frequently stalls and there doesn't seem to be a way to kick it.

I also have another problem with the author(s): I frequent a (for-pay) web site on which this add-on didn't work. The author rejected my offer to use my account for testing. OK, I can live with that, so I found a free video which exhibits the problem and added a comment with the link. That comment was deleted from the forum, without notifying me. So was a follow-up message asking for an explanation. (Politely, I should add.)

Ich bin genervt, nur noch genervt. Mal funktioniert der Scheiß, dann wieder nicht. Und ich habe keine Zeit mich ständig mit den "Neuerungen" eurer Drecksprogramme zu beschäftigen, die immer wieder das Nicht-Funktionieren nach sich ziehen. Nieder mit IT. Braucht wirklich kein Mensch, wenn es nicht funktioniert. Lasst doch einfach eure Scheißgriffel von funktionierenden Programmen! Wie psychoneurotisch sind eigentlich Programmierer? Das Scheißteil will nur noch von UTube runterladen, wenn ich die Begleitanwendung installiert habe. MP4 findet es schon gar nicht mehr. Für alles wir die Begleitanwendung gebraucht. Dann könnt ihr die doch gleich integrieren, wenn's ohne nicht geht. Ich hab's echt satt, ständig für all die Programme meine Lebenszeit dafür zu opfern, dass der Scheißdreck wieder funktioniert. Ich hab auch was anderes zu tun und keinen Bock ständig vor den Kisten zu sitzen und mich den durch sie entstehenden Problemen zu befassen. Fuck up

Watermark is a NO NO!

Leider funktioniert der Downloadhelper fast gar nicht mehr. Ich wünsche mir ein auf die neueste Version von Firefox aktualisiertes Unplug.
