Video DownloadHelper is very easy to use. It downloads in the background and you just work as usual. It downloads videos from sources (like JW Player - which is harder to download from) where most other video download apps would fail. If conversion is needed it will automatically convert. Try it. I've been using it for years. It's a good one. What could be better: support of HLS streams download without recoding (like youtube-dl can) and add button "Open containing folder" for any item (being) downloaded. I never remember what my default download folder is, it is very uneasy to check the preferences each time. Also, make popup "Download complete" clickable - I want to get to the folder on click.

The addon is good, may be a bit confusing sometimes, but the biggest problem with this addon is the browser hijack. It injects LOTS of ads in google search results.
