I use it all the time to download videos that are otherwise hard to get a hold of, and yes, I have been using using download helper since it's early days as well.

With latest version of this software, all of a sudden the developers are placing a watermark on the video unless you register the app for $28.50 USD. That is an exorbitant price. There are better, free and/or less costly alternatives. Google "alternatives to Video Downloadhelper".
