- Rated 1 out of 5by Lantern, 6 years agoNeeds another add-on to do anything. Kinda pointless by itself
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nick, 6 years agoBeen using this addon for a few years. Used to be an amazing addon. Past year or two it has gone drastically downhill. You can no longer just download videos. Even doing a "QUICK download" requires a third-party application. In order to do a simple download you must download a thrid-party EXE application. The addon downloads the video then you have to wait a few hours for it to fully convert and download. The nail in the coffit is the huge QR code they put in the top left corner of all videos downloaded. Who wants to watch a huge 2"X2" size QR code on their video. My monitor is only 21" wide. Uninstalling and going with a more reliable video download option.

It's sad how a great addon has been transformed into this now - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15708776, 6 years agoThis no longer works with Firefox. Well, I shouldn't say never. It does work maybe 2 out of 10 times. I have used it for years with no problem. The last week or so it just refuses to download anything. It keeps most of the videos queued and never does anything. So it is now on my shit list, but it was pretty good when it worked.
- Rated 1 out of 5by reb00tz, 6 years agoCrippleware that forces you to install "helper app" that (unnecessarily) downloads the video/audio streams separately, all on the PRETEXT of "merging" of streams - when it actually NEEDLESSLY re-encodes the entire video, just to inject a watermark that you have to "pay" to remove - all while wasting time (up 1000x compared to just straightforward "muxing" of combining the video and audio file) and DEGRADING video quality. Furthermore, the "companion app" needlessly attempts to install as a "privileged" application on Windows, claiming it is needed to "help download streams"... Stay away and just use DownloadThemAll! (which disproves this "need") and uses the browser engine (i.e. keeping all browser headers, cookies and referrer inside the browser), instead of leaking it all to the "companion app" just to do the same downloading action (and of course, the totally unneeded forced quality-degrading, time-wasting, watermark-adding "processing").

- Rated 1 out of 5by Zoidberg, 6 years agoRequires the installation of thrid party software which doesn't seem to have a proper uninstaller.
Also requires a (hidden) fee to have a proper usable video file. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15696469, 6 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Siracusa667, 6 years agoUsed to be the best app for downloading videos, now it's completely useless without a "Companion app"
- Rated 1 out of 5by Mrinal, 6 years agoRequires additional companion app for simple downloading of videos. No thanks.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13067006, 6 years agoThey want you to pay 20€ to remove a GIANT watermark on your videos. Lmfao. Don't lose your time and don't install this app.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Mark, 6 years agoHa!!!Well it's went from bad to even worse as now the maker(s) have it to that there is a watermark QR code on the lower left hand side of any downloaded videos.
This app has always been garbage but now it's even worse.
This is total ****!!!
