Used to be the best video downloader for youtube. Hasn't been updated in over 3 months now and doesn't work anymore.

Dowload Helper funktionniert trotz Lizens seit Wochen nicht. Man bekommt nur Schreiben die nichts bewirken. Man kommt sich richtig verarscht vor !!!!!!!!!

I have the premium version, payed liftime subscription. Now its not working on any site but stranglly the trial version is working in Chrome, Edge.

Worked several months ago after I purchased a "Lifetime License" for $28 in September of 2024. Has not worked for several months. I have reinstalled Firefox and Video DownloadHelper twice to no avail. No response to several messages attempted to be sent to Video DownloadHelper. Be sure it works before spending with Video DownloadHelper!!!

I cannot get this to work. The icon in the menu bar stays greyed out, and nothing shows up on the youtube video page.

Won't download videos and prompts you install Companion App. No thanks, I suggest you steer clear of this extension.

Most downloads failing! YouTube downloads disabled... loom videos not downloaded... This is a USELESS extension.

It was once an awesome program. Now, (Since the last couple of updates), most downloads fail. I've uninstalled & reinstalled, unistalled & reinstalled the Companion App, no effect. It likes they're trying to force you to buy their "Pro" version :>(...

not working without the companion app for windows. Pretty much a bait and switch scam. Don't download it until they fix it

loved the prdouct and even paid like 20€ for the license. now it does not work on youtube anymore. FIX IT!

Even though I paid for the license, it won't download from YouTube

Was good until they required downloading software not part of the browser extension to actually get it to work. Now any time I click to download a video it just says the software is outdated.
