I don't think so. It works quickly, downloads multiple formats and I have never had a saved video not play perfectly. This is one of the best add-ons I have used with any browser. Highly recommended.

What happened to this good addon? Before, I just had to do a serie of download without checking everything, now it's just too slow and it works badly with the principal website for which I mainly use VDH (Video not fully downloaded, bad quality when the originals are actually really fine, etc .). The worst is probably that I can't get help to resolve the issues aforementionned since no one on the support answer to my call for assistance.

It works great for downloading streamed shows. The first time I downloaded it, I couldn't get it to pick up the show being streamed but I re-installed it later on and it works fine now. One annoying thing is, that when saving a video or changing the save directory, it seems like you have a time limit to make your changes. I'll be changing the title of the video I'm saving and all of a sudden the browser tab just closes and I have to do it again only faster to make sure I hit save in time. Also another small annoyance is when deleting hits from the menu, the menu closes every time you delete one. It's just a small annoyance but it's a little bit tedious.

Video Download Helper is very easy to use when you want to save a copy of a video that you like. It lets yo9u set the folder where the file will go every time. One improvement on that feature would be to tie the download setting in Firefox to where the video is downloaded so you can either have a permanent download folder or let you set the folder on the fly, eliminating having to move the file later.. The notification when the download is done is a nice feature since larger files take longer. I would recommend Video Download Helper to anyone using Firefox!
