Downloadhelper is great and I use it quite often. I download a lot of videos to show Family members later and this allows me to do so.

I have downloaded it twice and cannot get it to run in Firefox.

This add on is a must have for downloading video content from almost every source online. Without a doubt the best completely trouble free add on which does exactly what it claims to do without fuss, complicated settings or preferences. It just works.

I've been using Video Download Helper with Firefox for several years, and it performs very, very well. I rarely find a video archive that it doesn't work with, and I've hit some fairly obscure ones. The developers do a good job of keeping it up to date. My one complaint is a new feature. When you instigate a download, instead of just popping up a save-as dialogue, it opens a new web page with a list of recent downloads and a "save" link at the bottom. This is clunky and unnecessary. However, I do give it kudos for letting me pick the directory (folder) where I want the files to go instead of defaulting to some stupid Windowws download folder.

Uso este add-on há muitos anos e ele nunca me deixou na mão. É muito simples e prático. Realmente funciona bem.

It's flawless when it comes to downloading streamed videos. But I guess it could use some improvement when it comes to YouTube videos.
