This is a great addon and I would recommend to anyone. Truly its like my right arm and it is so useful. It downloads in a number of resolutions and is quick and easy to use. Highly recommended

This is a great tool for getting videos from YT & all other difficult to grab sites. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting videos that other tools cannot download.

It should be clearly mentioned somewhere. I lost my time, thinking that it was a free addon, like some years ago.
Now, for most actions, an additional software needs to be installed. This software adds a QR Code inside the videos unless you pay $28.50 USD or €18.50.

I think this kind of addon should not be allowed for a free and open source browser.

最近chromeにもVDLHあることに気づきましたが、やはりfirefoxの方が使えます。

Absolute garbage. It inserts a giant QR code on top of the video and at NO point in the process does it actually mention this. I don't mind monetizing software but this just wasted my time. On top of that, the conversion process took over 4 hours for a 30 min 1080p video on a 16 core high end machine. Garbage.

This app does what it says it does. Helps you download videos, simply and cleanly.

PERFETTO

This was a good alternative for Flash Video Downloader and works for the most part. The problem is for lower resolution videos and the watermark takes up the entire screen. There's no problem for HD videos because the watermark will be small on the upper left side of the screen. But for low res videos the watermark blocks the entire top half.

Where similar software will download only youtube, or from other mainstream sources, but fail in most anything fringe, this one works 100% of the time, and usually offers multiple download format choices as well.

Mozilla downloadhelper is the best way to download video of any kind. So much better than Chrome downloadhelper. Have used Mozillla since Netscape was killed by Microsoft. Love Mozilla and the folks behind the great Mozilla project...Would give it six stars if possible. Thanks

USEFUL PROGRAM

This application works well on most websites. Seamlessly and invisibly downloads video. Very flexible options to choose what videos may be downloaded and where they are saved.

I found a very educational series of how-to videos for Foundry Modo. It contains almost 400 videos. I intend to download them all while cataloging them in a database I built, which allows me to do keyword searches.

So Video DownloadHelper really helps in this. A common format it offers is .mp4. The installer creates a "dwhelper" folder in my user folder, to which the videos get downloaded.
