Works as advertised. Very little hick-ups during use.

This requires an additional program to work. But what's worse, this add-on also puts a big ugly QRcode in the upper left of the video. The QRcode points you to the developer's webpage. While this might be alright for some people, it is not alright for others. Disclosing this information prior to downloading might have made me not waste time on this add-on and the required accompanying program.

Videos originate with a file, and that file is referenced on the webpage. This add-on takes a relatively simple task and makes it overly complicated. There are other options, this option is terrible. They have an overly complex conversion system that they obviously wasted a ton of time on. Most people won't use a conversion system, but for those who would use it, they certainly wouldn't put up with a video that has a huge ugly QR code in the corner...

My guess is that the only reason this add-on doesn't directly download any video file is that it "needs" to slap that QRcode in the corner... So they purposely add more complexity and complications in order to ruin the resulting video.

Mozilla really needs a better review process. ANY review that doesn't mention this QRcode or the required additional program is obviously a shill rating. Again, the problem isn't the existence of those two issues, it's that they don't tell you that they have those two issues (because they are undoubtedly issues of their own making) Not recommended.

This FireFox add-on makes it very easy to download YouTube videos. All you have to do is navigate to a YouTube video and then click the Video DownloadHelper icon at the top right of the FireFox browser. Then all you need to do is select the file type and size you want the video to be. It is so quick and once it is done you can double-click your downloaded file and it will open with whatever you use to watch videos offline! Easy as pie!

You know when you need to watch "something" after everyone's asleep and you need to free your mind of the days worries and woes. It "touching" how good downloadHelper can help you feel.

O problema com o DownloadHelper é que não tem como identificar qual imagem quero salvar, tenho que ir salvando a lista quase toda até encontrar a imagem que quero salvar, isso é muito chato, as vezes até desisto. Existe uma maneira de identificar a imagem a ser salva ?

É uma extensão de muita utilidade para fazer seus downloads dos mais diversos sites e/ou converte-los, gosto muito do mesmo e deixo aqui minha opinião, apoio os desenvolvedores.

Download video perfectly,only issue is certain site consume too much ram, it freezes and hang and I will need reboot. I have 8gb ram but it will chew through all of it till ram usage reached 95% download fail. Hopefully it get fixed.
