I'm fed up with the specific problem of Firefox allowing addons to open a tab and switch to it. When I do an important task, fill out an administrative form, telecommuting, upload a video on Youtube, capture a whole page, in short any task that needs to stay on the page for a long time, it's not at all time to be switched to an update tab, for example, from an addon who abuses this function without way to disable it! Thanks Firefox for not disabling this feature! Another thing, this addon, useful in the past, does not download any video on important sites like Facebook, Youtube (which obliges to install an unknown software to download a video), ... I uninstalled this addon!

Et si vous m'objectez que des millions d'internautes l'utilisent dans le monde, je vous répondrai qu'il y en a maintenant autant qui ont décidé de s'en passer.

There was minor issues when Firefox changed things, which DownloadHelper was able to correct within days. Once the app for Download helper was added to my computer, all downloads have been quick and easy avoiding the watermark or tag in left hand corner. I just have to remember not to download through Firefox (where it prompts you to changing format, even when already in MP4) but through app to avoid the watermark, but all MP4 videos download easily. It is a great tool for viewing programs that have been uploaded to the net, such as TV shows that are no longer shown on television. I will be donating as well.

This app works great. I needed to download quite a few videos from a few sites and it does it perfectly and effortlessly. I'll be donating!

I have tried adding this Downloadhelper to my Dell XPS desktop computer (Win10) and no matter how often I try, and it always pretends to be installed, I cannot figure out how to access it. On my other computers, I have the 3-color cirlcles to click on to bring up the application. However, I can't find it on this computer.
I want to use it, it's great when I can use it, but somehow it's not able to install on this computer. What might be going on????
