I like to download videos to my HDD so I don't have to deal with buffering lags. I've been using Video DownloadHelper (VDH) for awhile and just updated to version 7.1.0
VDH was the easiest, fastest and best way to download and the developers somehow made it even better. Unbelievable!
I highly suggest to everyone to get this for your browser or you will be missing out.
Kudos to MIG and all who make VDH such a valuable tool.

I rolled back to version V7.0 and I plan on staying there for a while. I never want to demean anyone's hard work but V7.1 is just not user friendly even after you install the companion app. A bunch of downloads over these last few days failed to install for me.


But I'm optimistic future improvements will be made. I know it hasn't been easy adjusting to Webextensions in Mozilla Firefox Quantum

Extremely to use. The extension does all the work. Find the video you need and click the extension icon. It's that easy.

excellent application

I waited patiently and saw some good reviews and some not so good. That's to be expected but I waited for an update (initial releases can be twitchy especially with the new FF) and finally tried it for myself. I use it on select sites and though it's not quite what it used to be, it works for me for what I need. I can't speak for downloading everything from every site out there but for what I use it for (video from a few sites only), it works with no issues. I even tried it first without any companion app and for my needs I'm satisfied with the operation of it. I don't really care that I can't pick the download folder. It downloads. Really, what more do you people want? Do you not know how to move files after download? The addon works! I know it's been an effort from the developer to get this going and I appreciate the hard work. I've only had this installed for one day but so far it's worked without any issue. Maybe I'll get to some sites where it will falter but these are still early days and the developer will always work to further the cause but for now it seems to be working well. Thank you.

Una delle migliori estensioni per scaricare video. Difficilmente fallisce il download e soprattutto ha il pregio di non funzionare solo su Youtube.
Sarebbe utile se oltre a far vedere le caratteristiche del video desse anche informazioni più dettagliate sulle caratteristiche dell'audio del video stesso.

Downloads funktionieren schnell und gut, ich liebe die Erweiterung.
