This, like many other add-ons, used to be fantastic. Now, not so much. I will never understand why so many tech companies insist on regressing their tech applications. The people will just go elsewhere...AVG, for example. And sadly, now Video DownloadHelper is another one to cull from my add-on list. It's not me, it's you.

VDH used to work just fine. Now it is not working at all, and finding help with the issue has proved fruitless.

It downloads the video in about 2-3 minutes and then spends 7 hours (!!) to reencode already downloaded video just to put its stupid watermark.

Для сведения видео 1080p и аудио просит поставить отдельное приложение, этоок. Качаешь его, запускаешь, процесс в фоне, и только после сведения тебе показывают сообщение с извинением за водяной знак на видео, т.к. ты без лицензии.

It was good until it wasn't. Now that it's got all your stars, it stopped being what you gave stars to. I shitcanned it for that.

There are much better opensource alternatives for this extension which doesn't spoil videos. Also they have less permissions and will not spy on you an all websites you visit.

I purchased the custom licence for this add on but never received the activation certification via email. They did manage to accept and charge my visa card, however. Now can't seem to reach a real person for refund/explanation/etc.

They are stealing videos from other sources, but they want to make you to pay for those videos to remove the watermark! Worst plugin ever!!! I've just created an account here to prevent other people of waste its time!!!

It was a good add-on back in a day. Now not only it requires to download an external app which wasn't needed befor, but it's also adds that stupid QR-code on videos which were downloaded through companion app. Uninstalled after 8 years of use.

Addon doenst work anymore. Trying to capture videos will stop after a few seconds.

So downloaded addon, then i needed to download another app to pc, then needed registration and to pay for this app.. No thanks.

Slows much firefox, and fills memory.

Why add a watermark?

I was using it for years, it was a cool , lite addon, now it's not an addon, it's not lite, it slows down firefox and it's not free, but no problem, there are many new alternatives

All I am getting is "Queued." Nothing downloads. Can not find switch to move from queued to download. )_())(*& so I just removed it.

Doesn't actually allow downloading anything without "additional software". Uninstalled instantly!
