- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14242442, 7 years agoCan't download without companion app, external site, executable file. Get fucked.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14244004, 7 years agoUsed to be the best. Now it downloads in a fair amount of time, then says it is going to take an hour+ to aggregate a 9.5 minute youtube video which is a still screen and music. If you cancel the aggregating, you lose it all, and I can find no way to stop it. All this since the companion app requirement although you can go without but the downloading seems to have been capped further then.
I'll find something else now.
Came back a year later and it has improved in time it takes and still tells me it requires a companion app, however, now there is a huge QR code all through the video. Is there a point? - Rated 1 out of 5by MrMostly, 7 years agoInstalls a big QR code on screen of all downloads. Spoils functionality.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14243558, 7 years agoTried it out, but unfortunately it takes forever to download small files and uses a huge QR code in the corner of the screen to extort you to buy a license. I found and donated to an alternative software that doesn't do this. Thanks anyways.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Aris, 7 years agoAdding crappy QR codes to a video is a real no-go!
Just leave the video alone, no converting, no editing, no QR crap addition!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Denis McCarthy, 7 years agoI've used Video Downloader for several years but for past month it is no longer working. Please fix this. Why aren't you checking on it yourselves!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Azdec, 7 years agoit" great. Does what it says. downloads videos when others cannot. It is now May 21, 2019. This extension has not worked for weeks. It was my "Go-To" video downloader. Now it downloads to the end and gets an error or dose not work at all.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14226085, 7 years agoJust rip-off. Now you need to install same secondary app so they can take your money. Forget about free part, it's false. It was good quite a while ago, you didn't have to install any software from dubious sources, but now...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14221367, 7 years agoAt first it worked some of the time, then they makes you get additional add-ons which you then have to pay money for if you want to remove a watermark.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14221251, 7 years agoThe watermark is ridiculous. Usually the free version although has some inconveniences it is still usable but that big watermark is totally unacceptable. I could buy the license, and I'd have done it because I need a premium quality conversion but after that I'm not giving you my money. You are ridiculous
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14220311, 7 years agoNOT free. First it makes you download another app and install it on your PC. I did this because I used to use this program years ago and it used to be good. Then after you install this it makes you pay around 20$ to use it. False advertising.
