- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17058334, 23 days agoI used this addon from beginning on to download thousands of videos. Until v10 update made is useless.
Update from v9.5 to v10 broke/removed nearly everything I liked about this BEST add-on ever:
- legacy mode removed
- no more posssible to preselect download location BEFORE dowloading and then just let it download, like it was last possible in v9.5
- videos too often not recognized
I have rolled back to the the last update before this and have disabled updates (rollback was sadly only possible on firefox, but not on chrome/edge). And with v9.5 videos continue being recognized, download location can be preseselected BEFORE download, interface is again clean in legacy mode.
I think that developer is not using it himslef and can not recognize how critical it is to select location and name of file BEFORE !!!! starting to download. If you let download like 10 videos parallelly , it is mission critical that you can do it.
It is WRONG if you have downloded video into memory and only then the extension asks you where to save it. I want to program download job and leave PC alone to finish it. and not return back and try to remember what I wanted to save where.
I will never understand why developer decided to make a PERFECT addon worse by removing core functions. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19652123, a month agoLatest update broke nearly everything I liked about this used-to-be-fantastic add-on. It did not need this redesign. What once was a joy is now naught but frustration.

- Rated 1 out of 5by wmanochio, a month ago(copied from Firefox user 16990717: I feel exactly the same) The new version feels like a slap in the face. In exchange for a slightly more modern user interface you have severely limited the functionality of the extension and have essentially taken away the ability for the user to configure the extension to their liking. I Have rolled back to the the last update before this and have disabled updates. Im not sure if this downgrade and reduced funtionality was done due to pressure from Google, or new management, or greed but it is very disappointing. I will begin looking into alternatives to this extension that has served me well for over 5 years. Please reconsider this new direction, this feels insulting.

- Rated 1 out of 5by FestiveJet1101, a month agoWAS a great add-on, but last update has made it unusable. Now looking for a replacement.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nicolas Claverie, a month agoles développeurs ont récement décidé d'ajouter sur tout les téléchargement un immense QR code qui couvre 1/4 de la vidéo. L'extension est inutilisable en l'état.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19635518, a month agoAntes era una de las mejores, ahora hay que esperar dos horas para descargar otro vídeo si no pagas. A veces no funciona. (Mejor alternativa: ytdlp.online)

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19628713, a month agoPuts a giant watermark on the downloaded videos, uninstalled.
- Rated 1 out of 5by --a, a month agoVersion 10 is completely broken. Had to revert to the old one. V10 cannot download any large videos, esp. with typical free streaming servers which often have network issues. The older versions can deal with that (not perfectly, but eventually it works). There are lots more new bugs. And I really don't need the UI to be redesigned all the time, esp. when that breaks the most important feature.
- Rated 1 out of 5by MagicMau, a month agov10 breaks lot of sites. reverting back to v9, everything works again
- Rated 1 out of 5by Me232, a month agoПосле обновления не находит видео на страницах!

This is not the first time that I have changed my evaluation and again for an update that serves no purpose except to confuse users. This update is nothing more or less than a step backwards and not really successful. But why break an extension that works well with a dung from who knows where? What the hell did it take for the developer to do such an update? Would there be a quota of updates to be published, even if it means removing a version that works well? For my part, I"m going back to the previous version and I"m blocking the updates while waiting for better days.
