Ich habe Videodownloadhelper immer gern verwendet. Seit der neuen Funktion geht es überhaupt nicht mehr. Es dauert unendlich lang mit dem Zusatzmodul, und dann habe ich noch nicht einmal den Ton beim Video.
Ich habe dieses Add-on wieder deinstalliert. Schade !

after It automatically updated for firefox 57.0, I cannot use the stream recording function anymore. btw, vdo stream recording that I used to is no sound in the clips.

I used to love the video download helper extension until I upgraded to Firefox 57 then needed the Video download helper 7.0 Firefox extension.

That needs the companion app which is in the DEB format for my Ubuntu software based computer (17.04 distro), it should be as simple as downloading the DEB file then clicking on it.


It should then automatically run with the Ubuntu software centre then install the app only when I click on install, nothing happens.

So,I have to run another Firefox extension because Video download helper no longer works.

Use to love this app but after the upgrade of firefox and the app to 7.0 , it's becoming a SHIT. Come on guys, fix it or don't offer this shit to us! Downloading a 500mb video use to take 10min, now needs 10 days!

I used to love this extension. It worked great and was very useful. Now with the new Firefox update it doesn't work at all any more.

Era o melhor programa de download de vídeos do Mozilla, porém, com a nova update, conseguiram estragar o que era bom com um tarja enorme no vídeo, além de não baixar mais os vídeos em mp4.

Mais um aplicativo q vai cair no desuso.

Läuft nicht unter Firefox 57! Kein Bild, egal welches Format. Läßt sich auch nicht konvertieren oder umwandeln. Wo bleibt die Alternative???

Was soll dieser neue Mist ! Der alte Downloadhelper hat doch wunderbar funktioniert. Wiedermal ein Rückschritt eingeleitet. Ihr seit alles Pfeifen.

La versione 7 non funziona, non è possibile selezionare la directoty di destinazione, il video embra essere scaricato, ma alla fine non è leggibile. Fino alla versione precedente era il migliore ora è solo una gran perdita di tempo e non serve a nulla. Bel miglioramento!
The 7 version don't run, isn't possibile select the destination drection, in addition the file seems to be descharged but cannot be read or converted. Up to the prvious version was the better, but now is only time loose. This is an improvement?

Kann kein *.mp4 Livestream mehr laden/ beenden. Nur noch irgendwelche *mp4.part- Dateien.
Was soll diese unsinnige Erweiterung, für die Lizenzgebühren verlangt werden???
Nehm ich halt über eine externe Festplatte vom TV auf.

Looks like this is paid subscription. Dodgy as all hell, should not be in the Firefox add-ons store anymore.

Version 7 mixes up the download list with content from the previous page in this tab but showing the same title and preview picture of the active page. It also forgets the last used directory sometimes from one second to another and just downloads to default Downloads folder, wtf? And that stupid smart naming cannot be disabled, need the original filename ... Please fix or make the previous versions compatible with Quantum! ...

Вкрутили вспомогательный софт (ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНЫЙ), кто знает, возможно даже с вирусами.
При скачки любых видео что-то над ними шаманит в десяти процессах, в итоге после полу часа мучений над "скачкой", на пол экрана висит вотермарк.
Отвратительный плагин, ни в коем случае не ставьте!

it wont pick up mp4 files in many sites it use to work perfectly before the update

The latest version running in Firefox Quantum (57) no longer detects videos playing on many sites - the icon stays greyed out :(
