When I downloaded it the first time it worked well (a long time ago, talking about years ago).
Now the download speed is "meh".
If you download multiple videos (across many tabs), it will crash and it won't say which videos weren't downloaded (it only appears to report the bug).

It would be more helpfull if it wrote also the video titles where it failed so thwey can be downloaded again.

Ad-Ware. Should be removed from recommended Add-Ons!
Bakes QR code into downloaded videos to pay. Tells you about this only after you installed everything and downloaded your first video. VERY scammy tactic! :(
Use yt-dlg instead.

Used to work well, now it inserts a giant QR code into everything you download trying to extort you to pay for a "conversion license" without giving you the option to just download the source format without converting.

I also Thank Michel, for the generosity and kind courtesies, for keeping this gem a software “Free” for people to use. I came across this software only around 2009-2010 and since then have never had to look back for another software for video downloading from the internet , and Never Would –
Whatever and Whenever I needed to download a vid – a Blind Click on the VDH logo and DONE !!! the downloads would roll in. I use it across all the 3 platforms Firefox, Chrome and Egde, Why ? Because of Its browser "Compatibility", thats the next Best Thing about Video DownloadHelper – And this Software is CLEAN – no adwares, spywares, tracking, no viruses.

Stopped working, QR code is unnecessarily large.

Il miglior software per scaricare qualsiasi video dalla maggior parte delle piattaforme. Lo uso da anni e non ha nessun competitor. Uno strumento utilissimo quando non vuoi perderti dei contenuti nella rete.
