This a useful extension and it reliably downloads videos you can select from a web page. It's quick and very easy to use.

This add-on requires a secondary program for downloads, and it leaves a QR coded in the video that covers the bottom left-hand corner, taking up a quarter of the screen... permanently! Not a great look. Don't know how to remove it. Definitely distracting! Borderland unusable!
