- Rated 1 out of 5by Goran, a month agoV10 is absolute garbage. It removed very well working options, like downloading in browser for an options hidden, non configurable, unstable, just all in all bad programm.
Had 27 of my first 30 downloads in V10 be unusuable!
Just use 9.5. That one actually works and if you use the download in browser function you can resume downloads when they get interrupted, which you CAN NOT in the new version!
Any slight hicucp and the file is ruined. - Rated 1 out of 5by Dima, a month agoThe v10 update wants a new permission: locks on all open tabs - something like that, but that's too many permissions. Thanks, but no, I'm staying on v9.
- Rated 1 out of 5by XXVII, a month agoWorst update so far, the new interface is just good looking but sucks because it removes options and functionalities.
Just rollback to version 9.5.0.2 - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15746352, a month agoyou should write a blog post "how to eff-up a pretty good downloader in one update" I noted this change earlier in the chromium browsers like Brave etc, Yesterday the same crud was pushed into Firefox. I don't understand the thinking, it's awful, going backwards in functionality (apparently) I've removed the five stars I put up not long after this addon first appeared and replaced it with this. Looks like the number of decent downloaders gets even smaller. Remove it and put the earlier one back up
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13588480, a month agoAs others have stated, version 10 came with a fresh coat of paint and widescale destruction of previously working functionality. I, and many others have had to downgrade until these issues are fixed.
Guys... you have a beta testing branch. Isn't this the kind of stuff that should be staying there, until it's actually functional? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19621258, a month agoThe author of this extension. You're asking too much, buddy. Not only does the author ask you to install the program on your computer, but he also asks for too many permissions. With this kind of success, I might as well just use the built-in software from the graphics card manufacturer and simply record the screen. Or use free software to record any signal source in two clicks. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst extensions for Firefox. This buddy even asks for money.

- Rated 1 out of 5by justy, a month agoupdate unwittingly ruined my downloads. now its useless trash. now deleted from my pc. shame. i though it was a good addon until latest update.
EDIT:
you can use last update which works. im not allowed to attach the link. just google video downloadhelper older updates. - Rated 1 out of 5by Louts23, a month agoEncore une mise a jour qui met la merde.. quasiment plus un seul site ou je chargeai ne fonctionne
Another update that's messing things up... almost no website I load on works anymore.
Where is the old version? - Rated 1 out of 5by V10 is Garbage, a month ago(UPDATED Review) V10 is still causing major problems for me. I have rolled back to the previous version 9.5. If you use V10 and it's working for you, that's great. I still say V9.5 is 5 stars, V10 is 1 star for me. (Troubleshooting continues)
- Rated 1 out of 5by TexTom101, a month agoRuined it. New version just popped up on my install and now my downloads don't complete, they stall and sites I've left continue to try and offer downloads. RUINED IT.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Dāvis, a month agoABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING UPDATE!!! Not to mention, I am searching for something different and suggest others do the same. Others say "watermark"? Are you joking? Why are all videos coming from one IP? Before every video downloaded from different IP and process was not under Firefox, but rather under FFMPEG, and I could NetLimit every video individually on constrained 4G internet. It is a joke. Downloads failing left and right. Non-descript streams, need to dive into "details" window to determine what language I am downloading. Before I was downloading LAV 720p (video together with audio), but now forced to download ENG together with video stream and have to download LAV audio seperately. Why 3 identical audio streams? WHERE CAN I SEE AUDIO BITRATE DIFFERENCES ON DIFFERENT STREAMS??? Exactly... nowhere. Before it worked with just one A/V stream showing. Where is temp folder, not "dwhelper" anymore? FUCK FANCY ANIMATIONS!!! I need functionality. What is this shit, pay to win?
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13960520, a month agoUnusable after the newest update. Every download fails.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19619198, a month agoWhat have you done? The Dec 25 update is awful. The interface is terrible and there is no option to use the old interface and download method meaning you are forced to use the built in crappy slow downloader. You took one of the most useful extensions and flushed it down the toilet.
