- Rated 3 out of 5by Eddie, 7 years agoAfter update to Firefox 62.0 version VDH stop to work. Too slow in downloading and aggregation.
To give an example, Youtube video download get 450 mb video in 5 minutes, VDH after one hour had not yet completed the entire process.
I do not know what the problem may be. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14282856, 7 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13272144, 7 years agoStll lacking some Sites where you cannot download Videos. It recognizes the Video and it's Size but either starts download with unknown remaining time & 0 kb/s download. Or just downloads a small file like not even 100 kb..

・UIは使いやすい
・変換が必要となる動画はファイルが破損しやすく、画質も大きく低下する。 - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14250504, 7 years agoYou can download videos from website, but there is a huge QR code on the top left hand side, that require you to pay to remove it, and it is not cheap.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14193604, 7 years agoApesar de ser meio complicado pra instalar, é de fácil utilização, estou no meu 200 arquivo o que tá me ajudando bastante.

For a very long time I've recommended this add-on to the people I know, but lately there's been a change that adds a QR code overlaid on top of the downloaded video. The QR code only shows up on videos where the option to download is an ADP variant. The only option to get rid of the QR code on ADP variants is to buy a license. Holding a certain feature as paid-only is debatable, but for me I could accept it in a way. I do understand that so long as the main functionality of the add-on is not hindered, adding a paid-feature that's purely extra and bonus could be a good incentive for people to fund the add-on.
That normally wouldn't be an issue but after recent updates I was really concerned to see that the only download options that came up were the ADP variants which require purchase. I don't mind a paid option, but the fact that the entire add-on seemed to remove functionality from itself unless you paid for it was startling.
There is an option in the configuration settings that allow you to check "Hide ADP variants", and perhaps that may have fixed it. I was really worried that the add-on wouldn't allow one to download anything un-QR-coded without payment. More experimentation is needed to see if there's always going to be an MP4 download option as the add-on functioned just as before.
I'm writing this review to state that I was got a good scare from this recent update, but so long as the add-on retains full-functionality for free users I'll remain viewing things in good faith. Once again, I can understand creating incentives for funding, but to withhold functionality that was openly available before ransom would've scared me. I've been meaning to donate money before I even knew there was an ADP variant license available because I honestly have been a heavy user of this nifty add-on for a while, but haven't done so because I'm currently pretty lean financially. I'm just hoping that this add-on will remain in good faith towards everybody. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13944776, 7 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by tdebruin73, 7 years agoUsed to be the best. Now it places scannercodes in the top left corner in order to 'pursuade' you to give the developer money. Too bad.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14165441, 7 years agoDoesn't notify you about the ADP aggregation, puts a big QR Code box that blocks alot of the video if you haven't donated, there is only a bit of info if you read the info wall of text. Doesn't tell you about the addon that you need to install.
3/5 stars for misinformation. - Rated 3 out of 5by Don_Harrison, 7 years agoUseful as NetVideohunter does not work on the latest Forefox
