It is very good at DLs from Y-T, if you know how to trick Y-T. It has options for output. D-Ls from 𝕏 don't work yet.

ein guter Downloader

I've been using video downloadhelper for almost six years and I think it's one of the few apps that satisfied me.

I'm unable to direct my download to a unique folder. Otherwise, this extension is very fast and flexible.

Wonderful add on which works well on most sites. Occasionally fails to remove jobs from the list and this leads to duplication of files, which is easily rectified. Cannot follow links to html pages which contain an image I want, the only program which can do this is Bulk Image Downloader from Antibody Software which has other problems.

Overall, it works great for videos off of YouTube. I haven't tried stretching its legs, so I can't speak to other sites or different capabilities beyond the default settings. I will say, that sometimes it gives two options for the same video that have different download speeds. Either way, I can't complain.

It works as it should. My only reason to knock a star off is because it's not open source.

It does what it promises. Simple yet powerful. The developers are on the lookout for fixes and improvements. One of my favorite addons, also beautiful. Highly recommended.

It was so good, so good... that they discontinued it :(

Works great, but be prepared for sudden, unexpected notices about updates, interrupting whatever you was doing, once in a while.
