It was one of my favorite apps until the last update. Now it's crashing almost all the time and with youtube it's just useless trying it because it's working one time every several tries. I wonder why they touch things that work to damage them.

new interface is a pain; results populate faster than they can be used, and the "trash can" button that used to clear results now only clears completed downloads

The must used software application in my computer system. It greatly enhances my reference library and much more.

Works really well. Captures video reliably from a wide range of sites, downloads reliably in background. Does several downloads simultaneously. Recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous addon. If it would let me start downloading automatically once media is found, that would be even nicer!

It worked wonderfully. But then I made the mistake of purchasing the upgrade, and now, most of the videos on youtube are not even recognized by the app. If you want to keep using it, use the free version. But don't waste your money by "upgrading", you will be really disappointed.

This extension should be supported by Firefox because this extension is the #1 reason for using the Firefox browser.

Without this extension, I could be a productive member of society instead of downloading everything I can get my fingers on, endlessly filling up hard drives with downloads that I don't have time to watch because I'm too busy looking for something new to download!

OK, it isn't perfect. Nothing is. Every time THE MAN changes the way they stream, this developer springs into action to fix, adapt, and get things back on track.
I especially like that Facebook now works, where I used to have to go to another site in a 3-step process to convert to a downloadable format.
And I can't say that I'm thrilled with the new interface, but I'm getting used to it and it's much easier to adjust to than going from MSO to LibreOffice.
Every time I have problems, I just wait a couple of days and it gets fixed.
This is literally the BEST video downloader in history!

No malicious activities here. Just free internet users utilizing the internet freely against all efforts of people with way too much money and control over media. Eff Mozilla for trying to get rid of "unsigned" extensions.
