Although video download helper sometimes reports that there is no video content when a video is running, once the download assistant app is installed it doesn't do that as much and you can capture video from many sources, besides YouTube.

Personally I recommend Video DownloadHelper added to Firefox, and granted all permissions, it works really well and NO TRACKING allowed.

Cool extension. A bit "extensive" (with the necessity to install the additional dektop app to make it work), but while it works this fine — I'm OK with that. Sometimes catches unnecessary additional (duplicated) files, but it doesn't matter this much as you can select and save any of them.
