ALL downloads place an enormous QR code watermark over the downloaded file in all cases, even in the cases of files you can easily extract or download yourself. The extension has pivoted to full cashgrab and I imagine will vanish or break when that cash flow dries up in a year or so, and is not worth purchasing. Consider alternatives like this yt-dlp (first result on github if you google it) as an alternative to paying for this terrible software.

big ass watermark

Huge fucking watermark on every video, and begs you for 28$ to remove it. This extension is spam.

This add-on is UTTERLY USELESS UNTIL YOU PAY THEM. It puts a HUGE WATERMARK on the video in every video created by the 'UNLICENSED' version. If it would put a transparent unobtrusive watermark throughout the entire video or they put a smaller unobtrusive watermark, I would have no problem. But they put such a huge watermark that the video is become useless to watch. I today download a tutorial video from YouTube but this video downloader made it TOTALLY USELESS. If they mention this in the 'About this extension' section in this page, I might not add it in my browser but I would not report and write this review either. I don't know if this extension / developer violated Mozilla's Terms & Conditions but if I would in their review team, I would certainly remove it from the 'Extensions' page. In an era of 'FREE SOFTWARE' movement, THIS ADD-ON IS A BLACK SPOT ON THAT MOVEMENT AND ALSO ON MOZILLA ETHICS.

I don't mind watermarks but its huge and obnoxious(I tried this on 1440p). I tried it on 720p and its still there! 720p or even 1080p resolutions and below shouldn't have it that big or at all. Also 28 usd is way too much for a product like this that may just randomly disappear. Can't recommend and uninstalling now, such as disappointment.

It's okay to ask for donations, but it's definitely NOT OK to place a GIANT QR code Watermark in every download, and ask 28 dolars to remove it. Completely unusable now.

The BIG QR code is a really bad choice to force everyone to pay almost 30 dollars. Uninstalling right now.

Greedy extension, the watermark covers way too big portion of your screen, most of the "features" you can do online elsewhere for free. Also ~80pln(calculating it to my country) is just a scam.

Now everything downloaded with big and greedy watermark.

Was a great extension and I used it for many years on multiple browsers, however now a huge, obnoxious watermark/QR-code is being embedded into downloaded media whether they require conversion or not. If the watermark were not so large and obtrusive I would be able to deal with it, or even if it were transparent, but as it stands the watermark takes up an entire corner of the downloaded media and interferes with subtitles or text. I find this to be unacceptable and will discontinue using the extension.

latest update fails to see videos and only downloads 5 seconds most of the time. is there any hope for improvements for arm64?????

still no change in poor performance.... wait its even worse now, after 3 weeks. ill just go back to using a phone to download what this crap wont do....

Watermark takes up more than a quarter of my screen covers up the subtitles in the video. Completely worthless.

Doesn't download song you select. Downloads the previous song you downloaded again. You have to reload and download again so twice the time. So check your downloads after you use and expect to take awhile if you are downloading an album with this add on. A few days since I wrote the review and it still downloads wrong tracks. Sad this used to be a great downloader but now you have to do everything twice to get done. To much hassle when others will download on the low level it seems they want you to use. Already with a huge watermark I could live with downloading audio. But if you have to download multiple times also to get the correct track forget it. Back to another song downloader. Was a happy user for a long tome but avoid now, it doesn't work right anymore. This is from a multi year user and praised this add on to no end. But have to stop using.

Unfortunately Every time I turn around it seems this program seems to boot my license off and I keep having to reinstall it. I love it when it works right/but most of my time it doesn't for some reason. It frustrates me to no end.

Any video downloaded by this add-on has a HUGE watermark on it which can only be removed if you pay the developer extra money. None of this is mentioned on the add-on homepage. This add-on is a scam. The high number of five star reviews is shady and screams botting. Your time would be better served by reporting this add-on as a scam to Mozilla.
