- Rated 5 out of 5by Laura, 2 years agoIt's an important and easy to use extension to Firefox. Just start your video, wait some 20 to 50 seconds to allow synchronization to be initialized, then click the three balls logo of the extension, and click the row where the word "streaming" appears in the open curtain-menu. Video DownloadHelper will start the conversion to standard .mp4 file warning you of the running process with a "1" over the three-balls logo.
It also warns you when your conversion is accomplished, so you'll find your complete .mp4 file under 'yourcomputername'/dwhelper.
Really one of the best downloaders, with recently improved easier interface. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17929914, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Metty, 2 years agoI struggled with it at the beginning. Downloads were imcomplete aborted. Once I increased the timeouts significantly and reduced the number of parallel downloads everything was working nice. If you have trouble with this Plug-In have a look at its Behaviour preferences.

- Rated 5 out of 5by DAL, 2 years agoThis was brilliant in the early days, then went through some changes due to FF changing. It is now back to being excellent. The queuing of files and limiting downloads helps a lot, the speed is generally good. The only issue I now have is, if you download several videos, then wish to cancel them, you have to do it item by item. Needs to be a way to select more than one and abort. Simple to use and to set up.
