Text makes it sound like it's free ware, but it's not; you have to purchase a license for it's companion app to download anything (unless you like have a MASSIVE QR code on the resulting videos)...

Excellent. Do install the coapp with it. Just as the name says, it's very helpful for downloading videos, including chunked formats like HLS where it's not just a single file. Video DownloadHelper in firefox and jdownloader2 are my go tos for downloading.

Used to be a good add-on now everything has a watermark on it.

Has been very useful for regular video sites. Not sure why or how often it is when there's an error downloading a video and have to reload the page to complete it.
