Been using this for years now until today. There is now a huge qr code plastered onto downloaded videos.

Been a nice ride, but now is worthless.

It's working great when a lot of the other downloaders seem to be having "issues"...

Maybe I'm missing something but this would be even better if I could see the estimated download sizes...

Fantastic addons, work flawlessy even on some weirdly implemented website, as long the video player is well know.
The only thing i hate about this addons is the fact that i i choose a location for the file, and a name, the name i choose will not be displayed over the progress bar (at least until the download reach 100%)

I have been using Video Download Helper for years and haven't found anything better.
I heartily recommend Video Downloadhelper.

WARNING VIRUS AND QR CODE PAYMENT RANSOM

The downloader does not work on YouTube but says you need the companion app, fair enough so I download it.

It then adds a MASSIVE QR Code which you can only remove by PAYING for a license, this is a breach of Mozilla rules.

So I tested the companion download on VirusTotal plus some other sites.

The result says two sites found malware called W32.AIDetectMalware
VBA32 & TrojanDownloader.Private

So I test elsewhere and get this description for above

No way I am risking this, there are other video download apps

does exactly like it says. I wish license worked for the extension, no matter if Chrome or Firefox, but I did buy both so 🤷‍♂️
