some people seem to mind the companion app, i personally dont.
I mean i would prefer the app to be just a standalone addon but the companion app is quite inoffensive

An excellent and highly useful extension! I would give 5 stars, but there is a bug in downloading HLS streams with the default MPEG-4 encapsulation (resulting files just about play in VLC, but are quite broken in Quicktime).

(Workaround is to enable the 'HLS as M2TS' option and then convert the MPEG-2 transport stream to MP4 using e.g. Handbrake, but would be nice to see this fixed!)

Generaly it's working very well. Sometimes a few problems with some type of films or sites. But good job

Okay extension. OFten there is an error to downloaded videos where the file becomes corrupted

The extension doesn`t see its companion app in Firefox Snap version on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Works well in Firefox. I use it all the time on different sites.
