Used to be ok, has been updated. Now sucks and generally doesn't work

Ich benutze die App schon sehr lange, sie war kostenlos und sie hat bisher sehr gut funktioniert... leider enthalten die heruntergeladenen Videos jetzt, nach dem letzten Update, ein Wasserzeichen und auf Grund der Größe sind die Videos somit meiner Meinung nicht mehr tragbar. Habe die App wieder gelöscht, da über 18€ echt zu viel sind, Schade...

This works great with most sites. I highly recommend using this app!

I've been using this consistently for more than a year. I use it to save some streaming audio shows from radio stations. It works pretty well and still needs a lot of improvement. My biggest gripe is that some web pages will present 27 possible files to download with no hint as to which audio stream each is. I have tried downloading all 27, but it is very time-consuming to go through each file and listen long enough to determine if it is the one I want.

If it consistently presented each file in the order on which it is on the page, that would work. Or perhaps there could be a way to identify the stream by playing the first 10 seconds before downloading.

There have been a few updates and each one has frustrated me because I have to learn a whole new way to use the extension. Each update has been more pain than pleasure as they make one thing better and sometimes two things worse.

Begleitanwendung muss immer extra geladen werden. Nun funktioniert diese nicht. Weder auf der Homepage irgend eine Hilfe, noch im dezidierten Hilfeforum, da dieses wegen Malware von Google geschlossen wurde

Nach dem letzten Update ist das add on komplett nutzlos , und zeigt jedes mal nur noch einen Fehler an

La extensión Video DownloadHelper requiere una aplicación complementaria para poder funcionar. Esa aplicación complementaria NO SE PUEDE INSTALAR en MacOS High Sierra, a pesar de tener una versión supuestamente compatible (vdhcoapp-mac13-x86_64-installer.pkg), pero cuando se intenta la instación, da aviso de que «se ha producido un error durante la instalación). Este fallo convierte en inútil la extensión. Es una pena.

Downloads videos in decent quality, but without sound. If there is a setting to fix this, I cannot find it.
