- Rated 1 out of 5by user1952401, 2 years agoAnother case of dev chasing money and completely trashing on the userbase. Take a look at the github page to see them circlejerk. I recommend checking out other options instead of using this broken mess. If you want to see other reviews, filter to only 1 star to see actual reviews instead of 5 star bots.
I hope whoever at Mozilla is in charge of putting the recommended label on addons will review this update and consider removing it from the list of recommended extensions. - Rated 1 out of 5by zeroxdead, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18432716, 2 years agoThe new Version is bad. You can no longer see the quality of the downloads. Every video and photo from the respective website is displayed. It takes an eternity until you find the video to download

- Rated 1 out of 5by Citizen, 2 years agoEvery downloaded video has a MASSIVE QR code shoved into it to try to force you to pay for this extension. It also requires an invasive additional program to function.
AVOID - Rated 1 out of 5by RMC, 2 years agoI've been using vdh for years, but the most recent release is just completely dysfunctional.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ryan, 2 years agoEffectively useless unless you're willing to pay $26, they add a giant watermark in all conversions. You also need to have an external app downloaded for it to work in the first place.
- Rated 1 out of 5by UndersimplifiedLogoWasBetter, 2 years agoDO NOT UPDATE. Awful May 22nd 2024 Update. Used it for almost a year now. Used to be 5 star extension/app. New updated interface takes 7 seconds to load, versus the 1 second before. Larger videos which require the companion app now have about 1/4 the screen covered by a QR code. Unusable for out-of-browser videos, 7 times slower for browser downloads.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Radarph, 2 years agoIt's no longer free.
It inserts a huge QR code into videos. You now need to purchase a license. - Rated 1 out of 5by serrrgey, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by MsKaa, 2 years agoТребовать установки дополнительной программы на комп? Зачем? С учётом современных рисков (бэкдоры, трояны, ddos, майнинг и пр) - выглядит всё это очень подозрительно, особенно на фоне того, что другие плагины скачивают видео без установки подозрительных программ.
