Video Download Helper is one my most-used add-ons. I love it! I only remember one time in the past 10 years that it couldn't download a video and that was at least 8 years ago. I mainly use it for one-time webinars so I can go back to them later for details.

Causes a lot of lag on Youtube streams and embeds. Fails to pick up audios on some videos. Not really needed if you know how to download without it.

I use it and it works great for me. Getting videos has been very simple and fun.

After the last couple of Firefox updates (using Linux Mint) the apps started to download, only to find that there can be only a couple of minutes actually downloaded.
Tried to use this app on LibreWolf (tired of Firefox changing my settings for IPv6) but claims the video extension isn’t installed.
Used to be perfect, doesn't work on Librewolf so for me it's now useless.
Update,
Now even worse with this quick download nonsense telling you that it will download where it wants too.
Removed, may also change browsers as non of the video add-ons work as claimed mainly due to Mozilla.org.

Fuck your extension. It sucks. In 50% of cases it doesn't download the whole video. And what is this ADP bullshit and convert for YouTube videos. I can literly use a YouTube downloader website and it downloas an .mp4 video in in its entirety with sound and video with no watermark. So yeah, fuck You and your extension.

It's decent at downloading videos and other kinds of medias from websites. But after using it for a while I found that it made my firefox way slower by using over 2gb ram and a lot of cpu. I had to remove the extension for this issue alone.

Excelente downloader! Gosto que dê várias opções de qualidade e parece ter um bom gerenciamento de fila caso se queira colocar vários vídeos para baixar em sequência. A interface poderia ser melhor, ter talvez uma janela popup mais user friendly e mais facilidade de escolher a pasta de download, em vez de ser uma configuração fixa que precisa ser alterada sempre na página de configurações. Mas, daquilo que se propõe a fazer - baixar vídeos de diferentes sites -, é excelente.

Simplesmente perfeita, consigo baixar os vídeos de forma simples e fácil. Cumpre o que promete!
