Couldn't work efficiently without this great little add in. Has helped me time and again in my video archives and other workflow. That's why I contributed.

This allows me to download more videos from various websites than any other app I've tried. Of course, nothing's perfect, however this app is extremely helpful/useful to have.

Does NOT work with YouTube unless you install an EXTERNAL software application (they call it a "companion app"). This is a huge red flag.

EDIT: I changed it from two stars to one. I saw the "companion app" made available on GitHub and ran it through VirusTotal before deciding to install it.

Now, it downloads YouTube videos but re-encodes them (aggregate) which takes about an hour for a five-minute video. Apparently it does this so as to deface the video with a watermark unless you "register" (pay for) a license.

Screw this clown-show.
