Over the last few years, this has been most useful. A video you might value can disappear, esp. from Youtube, so saving a copy is ideal. This extension does this fine.

One of the best out there. I have tried several add-ons that promises download from any site. But never delivers.
Video DownloadHelper keeps its promise. What I like the most is that it allows you to select the quality, download location, and even que your downloads and aggregations. So you can effectively use your time without waiting for one to finish.

At first I was hesitant to install the companion app, but after a bit of research it seemed fine. That was a year ago, no problems, this is the best video dl app I've ever used. Good job!!

So far I am completely satisfied. Some videos cannot be downloaded, or perhaps converted, but the ratio of those that can and those that can't is very positive.

I have been using this extension for years and it works! It downloads from nearly website except Youtube but Youtube is hard to download from on purpose as they want you to pay to do that. I've used it a lot for porn and when videos appear on other non-youtube websites. I have been using Mozilla firefox for years too but this is the first time I bothered to make an account just to review this app and give it the praise it deserves.

Thousands of downloads (about 10TB). Found nothing better.
