Installed the extension, added the helper app, and no matter what I did the resultant files were unplayable. Literally in VLC player nothing would happen. The file would have a 0:00 time length. No errors, just an unplayable file.

Not working anymore. comp app is not detected anymore on ubuntu with firefox, but works well with chromium

Not working anymore. I turned off automatic updates for firefox at least in hopes that there is a new VDH update in the future. The companion app is also up to date, so its not that. Even with firfox being the only app open and only the one video tab I'm trying to download, the video still skips frames, but the audio is fine.

I was using this addon a long time ago and I wanted to watch a video later (with no internet access), so I remembered this addon.
I've watch my video with a huge watermark (I did not saw any warning about this before the process was complete).
I get that development takes times (and money) but not sure this is the best way to have user pay for this...

Great extension. Does exactly what it says and it's very easy to use.

The Add-on does not work for me anymore, at least on Youtube. I have deleted cookies and history cache, reinstalled Firefox, reinstalled the add-on. This did not help. Something is broken. It starts downloading, then indicator turns red, showing the error that it can not extract data from some tmp file. The error appears regadless of the video resolution. Too bad. Other video downloading add-ons work fine.

Unlike other addons, this one worked perfectly for me. The prove is that I write this review because I just downloaded the 101th video and to continue I had to write a review!

Only two words: WORKS FINE

I understand that You need funds to develop add on. I can agree with qr code hardly . But two things: converter changes resolution, quality and smoothnes of downloaded videos; QR is much to big. My opinion is that You are going to loost users neighter got money.

Love this app. In most cases able to download the video, even when others are not.
