Pick a different add-on.
I have used an older version of Video DownloadHelper for years.
I got a new laptop (with windows 11), installed firefox and Video DownloadHelper.
This new version doesn't do anything other than telling you that it requires a companion application.
Shame on Video DownloadHelper for doing this.
