Best video download add-on!!

adding a watermark does not seem like a good idea to me I have a slow pc and I have to wait for it to download and wait for them to put the QR as a watermark.

Memory Leak recently (20GB Ram usage even when closing everything), sporadic high CPU usage for no reason, sometimes 30% on an modern 8-core CPU, again even when closing all tabs besides an empty tab (the extension wasnt used or opened at all in either of those situations). Firefox performance analyzer clearly showed it was coming from this extension.
Besides that, the user interface is clunky and doesnt work correctly if the extension icon is moved into the dropdown menu.

Video DownloadHelper is a very useful add-ons, you can exactly use it to download videos easily.

Watermarks videos unless you pay.

Заставляет установить стороннюю программу, тем самым внося свой вклад в захламлении системы, вместо стандартного меню загрузки используется какое невнятное меню, в котором легко запутаться и можно скачать что-то "не то". Раньше скачиваемое видео было нормальным, теперь всё оно низкого качества. После сканирования антивирусным сканером, утилита удалила файлы этого плагина, посчитав вредоносными, а после повторной установки расширения перестал работать спящий режим. Есть подозрение, что в расширение вшили майнер.

После 10 минут установки приложения, дополнительного приложения, еще ожидания что наконец-то что-то скачается - получить огромный QR код - это просто возмутительно.
Почему сразу при установке приложения ничего про QR код не сказано - непонятно.

This download utility is easy to use, fast, and handles a variety of files. It also works w.o. taking up a lot of memory. One of the best I've found! Edit - I've now used this add-on for over a year, and it has been a great tool for many files that I've chosen to download. It is reliable and does not cause any compatibility issues with Firefox. I would recommend it without reservation. Am enjoying it with the newest interface now as well.
Adding to the review after a year, I am still very pleased with the download app. It is reliable, efficient, and does work with many sites, but not with YouTube. I use a different downloader for that site.
