A very overrated add-on. It requires an additional application to be installed on the system and adds its own watermark to downloaded videos. In most cases you can get by with other add-ons without such requirements.

I understand the need for payment and I appreciate the work you guys are doing but the watermark is huge and obnoxious. If it were just a small QR code it'd probably be fine but it takes up like 1/4 the video. If I wanted to download a video I would probably just do it from a third party site instead of use this, which has no watermark

I can't download anymore, what happen? install a Add-on? Completely useless

Your update broke the extension, useless now, it will perform 1 download then every thing after that will start and stay in an eternal "downloading" status with no actual activity leaving you with a broken file.

Was working great for years. New update makes it virtually unusable. Why update something that no one had any issues with and make it so much worse?

Something had happened on the new version VdhCoApp 2.0.10, that is making Video DownloadHelper to behave differently, with to many cases of a downloaded broken video file. Before this new update, everything was ok. By the way, the Video DownloadHelper version I have is 8.1.4.0

This goes from 5 stars in the beginning to 3/4 stars after it required companion app. And now it's 1 star because the last update kill the addon. It doesn't work anymore. It still show every videos on every resolution on the tab but it wouldn't do anything when you click one, it's just look like it's going to start download, but it doesn't progress.

Stopped working because now requires to download companion app which I cant install do to my OS being out of date.

as of today 12 January 2024 no longer able to change Default download directory for downloadhelper..options no longer given.. possibly due to update...i HAVE tried everything including reinstall.

Completely unusable after last update.
