- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18385459, 3 months agoThis addon has become really crappy by now, every time a sidebar opens up that nobody needed before, as it doesn’t offer any more functions and can’t even recognize YouTube videos anymore.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19020108, 3 months agoJust very basic now & constant nag to upgrade to pay....binned!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Guillaume, 3 months agoI had used this extension for several years. Unfortunately, it watermarks all videos using a HUGE qr code, pretending it "converts" the video. It is not converted, because it is watermarked no matter the version the video you choose. So I search for another extension, then trash.
- Rated 1 out of 5by AegisGFX, 3 months agoThe sad demise of another once great tool. Nothing but constant nagging from the app, had finally had to remove it. Its best you just remove it immediately, its spyware now and non-functional nagware.

Allerdings ist der Downloadhelper nach dem Kauf nicht mehr verfügbar.
Schlechte Übersetzung ins Deutsche - Rated 1 out of 5by Reiner, 3 months agoWas a nice extension but doesn't work properly on more and more sites. The watermark kills any worth of the extension and that I can't switch my chrome licence to firefox is a bottomless impudence.

- Rated 1 out of 5by admirablegeraldine, 3 months agoThe recent update puts a watermark QR code that covers 1/8th of the screen. As you might imagine, this makes it worthless for videos where there are important details in the bottom left corner. If you're willing to pay €18.50, then it does what it says on the tin. Until then, caveat emptor.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Fuck You, 3 months agoThis used to be a good add on for firefox but now with the extra tracking they do and the fact the last update made it stop working, means this extension is completely worthless just like the clowns who made this extension.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19016316, 3 months agoThis was a fantastic extension but QR codes are now embedded in the downloaded videos.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Chrispo123, 3 months agoTo download a youtube video from firefox it says that you need to install a piece of software, I did so after checking it was valid, what it does not tell you is that the videos that are downloaded are imprinted with a huge watermark that makes them unwatchable, then it says that to avoid this you need to pay us almost £20. I do not mind adding paid features but to make someone download the addon, download the software and install it, go through a long download then finally to tell you about the paywall and watermark AFTER you have done all of this, it is just a huge waste of time. Will be uninstalling and would not recommend as it is a borderline scam.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18247406, 3 months agoSays no tracking but asks for a million unnecessary permissions.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19012525, 3 months agoAdds a giant watermark now, makes it completely useless.

- Rated 1 out of 5by SRG, 3 months agoafter years of free downloading video's without water marks now they force a water mark on the video forcing you to pay or keep a water mark... will be uninstalling their addon plus their extra download and wont be back
- Rated 1 out of 5by SoloHer, 3 months agoDamn thing no long works. I don't mind if they want to charge for it but the trickery they are using to steal your information makes this a potential malware. Seems like download no longer works unless you install their add-on. Why does a downloader requires you to download another downloader to download videos?? I Strongly do not recommend this Video Downloader. For those on Linux use "Ultimate media Dowloader" never fails or rarely ever fails. Video Downloader is using its past good reputation to engage in potential bad practices. You can definitely tell by the number of bad 1 star ratings suddenly creeping up. Stay away from this add-on.
