not working, files downloaded always 0 bytes, wasting badwith & time...

very helpful app saved so much of money and time. excellent work by vdh team. thank you for creating this masterpiece.

I used this add-on for over 10 years. I got a new laptop recently and added this add-on. Oddly, it asked me to install a secondary program. I did, and tested it on a short youtube video. As soon as it downloaded, File Explorer began to have problems. It would take minutes to open explorer and the downloads folder wouldn't open at all. I spent most of the day trying to figure out how to fix the issue. I couldn't delete the file that was downloaded from youtube or the folder it was in. Finally i uninstalled the app and the add-on and deleted the file in Windows Safe Mode and now things seem to be normal. WTF happened to this add-on??

I don't think there is a video downloader that works as well as this one and I have tried many different ones. They make it easy to download from most websites (there are always some exceptions, so YMMV) that have video on the page.

Best in-browser video downloader I've found, and I've tried all the major ones.

youtube-dl is better for bulk/command-line usage, but VDH is great for everything else.

One feature request - keyboard shortcut to download the top result.
