At first I was hesitant to install the companion app, but after a bit of research it seemed fine. That was a year ago, no problems, this is the best video dl app I've ever used. Good job!!

So far I am completely satisfied. Some videos cannot be downloaded, or perhaps converted, but the ratio of those that can and those that can't is very positive.

Suggest to create a page to keep the record of downloaded video and to enhance the capability of video capturing since there was a case that a downloaded video only have several KB in size while the add-on shows it's downloadable in several GB.

I have been using this extension for years and it works! It downloads from nearly website except Youtube but Youtube is hard to download from on purpose as they want you to pay to do that. I've used it a lot for porn and when videos appear on other non-youtube websites. I have been using Mozilla firefox for years too but this is the first time I bothered to make an account just to review this app and give it the praise it deserves.

Thousands of downloads (about 10TB). Found nothing better.

Normally I would use Ant Downloader, but you can't get all the components for Ant in Linux.

Video DownloadHelper does just as good a job. It downloads video, and audio-only podcast streams without any trouble.
