发布于 3 个月前The default Connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. That said, you still have the option to change server, or you can upgrade to connect to a specific server in a country of your choice.
All of the Proton VPN servers use static IP addresses, which means that the same IP address is shared between all users connected to the server, and the IP address is the same all the time for that particular server, unless the server itself is changed. However, this does not apply to the free and Secure Core servers, which are selected from a pool of servers in order to balance out the load. As for dedicated IPs, we support multiple other countries: https://proton.me/support/dedicated-server-locations.
Lastly, we're not collaborating with any authorities whatsoever. If you'd like to assure yourself of Proton VPN's trustworthiness, navigate to https://protonvpn.com/blog/is-protonvpn-trustworthy for more details. We have a strict no-logs policy protected by Swiss law, and we are open-source and undergo regular third-party audits of our services.

- I had the same issue as others. Spinning circle after install. However, once I removed it and installed it again, what I was missing was the confirmation button at the bottom of the first page that opens up, then on the next page it asks you to log in. Once logged in, THEN the extension icon worked correctly.
At least for a paid person. Not sure how that's supposed to work with the free version.开发者回应

But this extension? It is more worthless than a boat on land.
The problem is that it never loads anything and just displays a window with a spinning circle on it, and the circle keeps spinning till I crash out and delete the extension.
Here's the process:
1. I pin this extension and then click on its icon
2. A small window appears and its loads... something.
3. It keeps loading.
4. It keeps loading.
Forever.
Yes, I reinstalled it multiple times.
Yes, I updated firefox.
I even rebooted once. Did not work at all. The ProtonVPN Linux CLI did though so its definitely not a network issue on my side.开发者回应
