mostly works if you don't get greedy, then yt blocks. come back later.

The extension is a disaster. It worked perfectly for years and then in early 2026 they changed it. Every page has like 50 sources for a download, you can't tell which one is which, and almost none of them produce a working file.

Works perfectly fine almost all the time. I recommend clearly, for video as for audio download.

I've used Video DownloadHelper for years, I even bought the conversion license back in the day. Whilst I mainly use yt-dlp these days, I still keep VDH installed for those websites that yt-dlp doesn't work with e.g. Reddit. This is an excellent add-on.

This used to be perfect. Now that it's been updated with fixes that didn't need fixing, it's buggy. Please bring back the previous version.
