by sam, 4 months agoDownload functionality - Works well, very well. Best out there for all the sites I go to. BOOBTUBE broke the 9.xxx versions (w/OG UI) functionality for many videos so I had to upgrade to this crappy version. That said I reg'd just to comment on the absolute crap UI in the latest version. Loose the script-kiddy BS, return to the OG UI, at least as an option. There is no functional re-name and save as/save to like previous version, no means to designated specific DL folder for VDH DLs. I always put my VDH DL's in a specified VDH folder, all other DL's go to the FireFox specified one. BTW some people do not have Z-LLINEAL vision so the Windoze/Idiot phone compliant UI is hard to see on my REAL COMPUTER with A REAL MONITOR, KEYBOARD and MOUSE.
Please stop socking Windoze, Android and Apple's clocks and return to previous UI that allows users to edit filename, and specify where to save the named file.

It gets 4 stars now (not 5) for two reasons:
1)The developer has disabled the contact page on his site, and there's no way to reach him. This is a problem ...
2)It's a very weird design decision to make me select download directory and file name (from Download As) *after* the download is complete. It causes the Save As system dialog to interrupt what I'm doing, routinely stealing keystrokes meant for another program and erasing the correct filename, wasting my time.
