No matter what I do, the add on just opens another tab that says 'no media to process in this tab'. The desktop add on works perfectly. The Android one, I cant work at all. There's a license section. i pressed 'get a conversion license, but nothing happened, so after a while I gave up. There is definitely a severe malfunction, probaably on my part, but the add on gives no clue.

Thank you, Mr/Ms Developer for expertly keeping up with security updates and video format changes. No other extension or app can do as much is this one to the best of my knowledge. Vimeo and YouTube keep on changing their formats and VideoDownloadHelper works his magic to make the program work without much effort on user's part.

Program runs well on a 14 year old Laptop running W7 with 2GB Ram and a Pentium Duo processor. Also runs well on a Mac using High Sierra and i7 and 32GB Ram.

I've tried all the extensions to DL video and always come back to this one for it's simplicity and success rate without intervention on my part.

It doesn't work! It needs another app to download video in HD quality.

Realmente buena y rápida para descargar memes en Instagram, Messenger y Reddit. Aunque su interfaz sea algo confusa y que no llegue a descargar algunos videos cortos de Youtube, sigue siendo bastante útil y rápida 😳👌

The reason for the one star is because this doesn't work. I get either a 1k or 0k file from it, making this useless. I don't know how others are getting any downloads.

The fact that it needs a companion app isn't an issue. The code is all open source, so anyone can look through it.

I get the desire for a dev to make a few $ for a good add-on; but this has been marked as FREE until recently, and now it is NOT, yet this is NOT explained in the description, but only apparent AFTER you've used it, when you see a VERY LARGE QR code embedded in the downloaded video, only removable with a 'conversion license' for $30. Bad form.

Since the app is not free anymore - any unlicensed (=not paid) copy will have a QR code in the top left corner - I am sorry not to be able to give a good rating. This addon *NEVER* should be a Mozilla Foundation's recommandation. Please change that.
