This thing kept trying to install unauthorized software and being flagged by my antivirus. When disabled of its privileges, it asks to install a "companion app" or won't do anything. Beware of add-ons that only run in any kind of elevated mode. Uninstalled.

Video DownloadHelper is by far the easiest to use method to save videos for future viewing. Right-click in context menu and select download, and your video is quickly saved and automatically named. Highly recommended!

I have been using Video DownloadHelper for over 2 years and it still works flawlessly, as described and expected. Quick download, and I like that it gives a choice on where to download. Easy to use, and I will continue to use it. No problems. Has not been banned like other extensions. two years later, after many Firefox updates, Video DownloadHelper still works love using it, would like to donate/ purchase but I don't know anything about stripe. I am waiting for a sale to purchase the app.

Marche à presque tous les coups. Seules quelques vidéos youtube protégées apparaissent avec un QR code, mais pour elles j'utilise un autre logiciel. Super extension à ce détail près.
