One of the best downloaders around and the only one that seems to work on YouTube. Works on many other sites as well. The only downside, if you don't pay and want high resolution videos from YouTube you get stuck with a very large QR code in the top left hand corner of the video. Some people are concerned with the VhD helper app but Virustotal.com gives it a clean report.

Every video that I've tried to download using this extension has given a pop up of "Companion application required". It doesn't work. Someone is trying to spread something malicious.
